Wacky, the good thing about that hair---it's all mine. And it covers my entire head. The only time I wear a hat--is when trapping, hunting or playing ball.My grandfather was bald by 30 as were his brothers.I must have inherited everything they lost.It has thinned some over the years, but its still hanging on.

Lets get the fever going Tom.  It wont be long now.  Here is a picture from spring of 04.  Two day run, cant remember if it was 40 or 42.  The bulk was caught on Moundmaster.  Those that were not were caught in blind sets.

I am guessing those beaver in your pics were not from up north.

Thanks for the pictures Boggy and Rdfx they are getting my blood punping.  Am still catching a few beaver but it will be nice to do it when it is "easy".

A good blind set.  You can see the beaver in the lower left hand corner of the picture.  I would have had the trap deeper but that is all the deeper the water was.

Another picture from the line last year.

Not trying to steal your thunder Bog just getting my fever up.

SF,  it takes a bunch of traps and lots of area  to cover. Also i set up new  places every day so i always have new  areas to check...If water is rising or falling it is alot more work.  Carrying the big ol blanket bvr out  makes you grunt abit but  your happy as heck when you got them skinned and fleshed  on board and of course when  you get a decent price for them when selling.....I keep my black ones and make hats and other things.
