I would start with a 38/55 336CB while you can still get one. I dont believe they have it cataloged for 2005. I have to say of all me lever guns the 38/55 has to be my favorite. Then you could always graduate to the 45/70. My Guide gun is a real tack driver and no doubt it kills deer in their tracks, but the 38/55 has done the same, just seems more fun to shoot. and ya got to get a 30-30, 35 Rem, and at least a couple of the 1894s.
