would $100 for a new model 60 in 100% condition be worth it.

Well considering Wal-Mart sells the model 60 for 165.88 here before uncle sam's cut of things with a POS Opronics scope I would say it would be a good price.

I just bought one of the Wally World Model 60's for my birthday just before christmas and still haven't had a chance to shoot it yet or zero it in.

I paid 175 and change out the door for it.

Marlin Model 60 around here goes for a little under $100.00. Stainless for around $125.00

Here in NY walmart has the model 60 for $117.00.So,no tax,no paperwork,$100.00 is sounding better.

Forgot to mention the price I paid was for a stainless model 60 with scope.

here in tennessee at walmart they cost $117.89 for regular model 60..but i have bought them at pawn shops for $65 all day long in very good to new condition...keep in mind thats not including $10 background and tax.try7 to get it for $85...oh and i more thing ive had the new ones with the short barrells and the old ones with the long barrells and the long barrells will shoot circles around the new one accuracy wise at 30 yards!
