Source request for Virgin Valley Forend.
« on: January 16, 2005, 08:30:59 AM »
In spring of 2004 , I purchased a Kevlar stock and 2 forends from V V C G.
The forends were for a 12 gauge slug gun and a 209x50 ML in Granite finish.  I had planned on getting a matching rifle forend this year for a 22 Hornet barrel but I understand V V C G is out of business.

Is there a source for these forends?  Is anyone else making them in Kevlar with the Granite colored finish?  I'm really bummed out.  I understand a company named Wolf or something made the Kevlar stocks and forends?  I forget the name but they sent out the blanks to V V and they did the inleting and finish work.  Any help greatly appreciated.

I am also interested in a lightweight stock/forend.

5Redman8,

If you are aware of a source for the kelvar stocks/forends could
you pm me as well. Last year I bought an encore frame with hopes
of creating a very lightweight mtn rifle by buying a custom lightweight barrel and then a kevlar stock/forend from VV. I have the barrel in the works, but didn't get to the stock before VV went away.

  Thanks,
