For the Old Army I need the little coil spring that pushes the hand forward and three sets of nipples. Where to buy?

I am given to undertstand that, as the revolver leaves the factory, the hammer will not quite contact the bare nipple allowing dry firing. If this is true I might want to stick to factory original nipples.

Contact Ruger. Sometimes hose little parts they'll ship to ou free of charge. If not, good bet they'll have 'em anyways.

I asked this question because the Ruger web site did not show any place to order parts. Finally broke down and phoned the general service number. After the usual automated phone system delays, I got hold of a service rep and the parts are on their way.

Brownells website lists the Ruger coil and plunger. I have bought several as I use them to replace broken hand springs in Italian Colts. Check Brownells for all the Ruger parts you can use.
