Anyone come across good handloads for 223rem with 40g vmax?

Welcome aboard!
Most have found that the win white box 45gr JHP shoot as good if not better than any handload, although some have found magic loads to be proud of....The Ultramax 40gr nosler ballistic tips shoot almost as good as the win white box in my UV, which shoot less than 1/2 moa. Best 3 shot group has been .265" with a runnerup of .440" at 100yds. With that kind of accuracy, handloading isn't necessary for me at $12.50 for 40 rounds. :wink:

Understandable, but I really enjoy working with and trying different loads.

my 223 bull barrel shooting 40gr ballistic tip bullets got it best groups with 25.5gr of H322 powder, I haven't tried the 45gr jhp winchester stuff yet but I am going to.
