Just finished my new CAS gun cart. This is the contraption that you use to transport your long gun and shotgun as well as ammo and all the rest of the "stuff" from stage to stage.
Used some nice 3/4x12x36 inch sanded shelving that Home Depot sells for less than $5 each. It's glued up from thinner pieces but does a great job for projects like this. Took about a month, working on and off, to finish it.
As the pictures show it can break down into several parts for ease of transport and the large wheels make it easy to travel over rough ground. Looking forward to giving it a "test run" so to speak.

That really is nicely done. I got one in a trade and it's just great but this is handy enough I may make one of these. Mines all one piece, holds six and is kind of heavy. Parking on hill (hills in TN?) it does get exciting lifting it into the truck. I like the cork. Great idea.

While not drawings and plans as such they are step by step (sorta). Some pictures at the top also might help. If you have specific questions let me know. I will take some more pics in future and post them too.

About the only change was to move the handle up a bit so it is easier to tilt back. So far working out quite well.

That was one of the carts I looked at when I designed mine. Got way too much woodworking stuff in the barn to buy a store-bought one. Mrs. kinda likes the looks of mine, too.

Yup, I make the Pony. The pictures of the Missouri Mule you see in Graybeard's post is made from Poplar. I had to raise the prices a bit today due to inflation of materials costs, but the Pony is still under $100.

Graybeard: I got busy today and didn't get a chance to call you. I'll get a hold of you Monday to work out a deal.

I remember we talked nearly a year ago, Jimmy. I wound up taking one made from plywood in trade on a shotgun or I was going to get a Mule from you when they came out. Glad you're still at it. Heard nothing but good about your work.

That works for me Jimmy. Glad you told me what that wood is on the one is the photos. That's some mighty purdy wood. And just think that's the lower cost option as far as woods go.
