Both versions for '05 are heavy barreled. The new one is a 24" fluted heavy barrel with a skeletonized stock.

Not sure if I like the new look or not.
Assume it is functional, any idea what it goes for ?

If you are referring to the skeletonized stock, that is the standard stock on the new .204, 223 and .22-250 Ultra with .24" fluted heavy barrel. The camo laminated stock on my .204 is only available from H&R seperately or from Brownell's. It's $81 + shipping.

They don't show the .204 Ruger Ultra, but they show the .223 and .22-250...Their MSRP is $396 for the Ultra and $284 for the Handi....retail would be $100-$150 less....

I think the person that came up with that stock needs to have their brain checked. If that ain't the problem I'll bet their blood alcohol level is way up :)  That is one UGLY stock. I can't believe they did that :(

You can still access the barrel accessory program, but it lacks the updates. You can call them though. The number is on the accessory page.
Ohhhh, I hate when that happens

Quickdtoo:
Called N.E.F. this A.M. for a 24" .204 BBL. to be fitted to one of my receiver's. She said they don't use 24" BBLS. in that cal. ??
Then she said neither of my receiver's  qualify for a BBL????
I have a .22 Hornet , ser. # NL_______  and a one yr. old BUFFALO CLASSIC.
She said to get a bbl. the second no. of ser. no HAS to be one of these.     N__P___R___S___T____U

Does she know what she's talking about ??????

Well, it's probably not available in the accessory barrel program yet, but it definitely will sooner or later, I would hope. It's listed in RSR Groups's wholesale catalog.

As far as your frame being used with the .204 barrel, only late built frames qualify, those calibers listed with asterisks are those that are critical, but the .204 isn't listed yet cuz they still haven't updated the page. What's the frame number on the BC? It could be only one year old to you, but still older built. The hornet "L" was built in 1997, the cutoff for the high pressure rounds is '98 or '99, IIRC. Not sure of this, but IIRC the BC frame is color case hardened just like the pardner shotgun frame, it could be an SB1 frame, for all I know... :?

Thank's. I guess I'll just wait and buy the whole gun.
      You wouldn't happen to have a site where I could get the Ballistic's for a .204 would you???     Thank's. :-)  :-)
