wel;l i put a tasco 32 mm red dot on my single six wow with cci stigers im shooting one hole six round groups off the bench at 25 yrds ,, cct tnt 22mags are about3/3 of a inch at 25 yrds ....open sightsi could hit a empty box of stingers 2 to 3 times off hand at 25 yds now its like 5 out of 6 times regularly ! the red dot works ! i tried the dot cause ive a hard time shooting with scopes .... :eek:

Question I have a SS that I want to put a red dot or holo sight on what mount did you use.

WOW! Until I did a Google didn't know anyone made a mount for the Ruger Single Six. Check it out!

I USED A WEAVER, CLAMP ON MOUNT ..... FROM MIDWAY SHOOTERS SUPPLY. I HAVE ONE ON MY SUPER BLACKHAWK FOR YEARS AND NEVER SHOT LOOSE.. USING 300GR XTPS .SOO I HIGHLY DOUBT A 22 LR OR MAG WILL SHOOT IT LOOSE .LOL

LMM...Jack Weigand makes good scope mounts...I bought on for my Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter. Works great...I'll be ordering another one in the future for my "soon to be owned by me" Browning Buckmark 22lr pistol. Weigand has made a customer out of me...Quality and quick shipping...Good luck.
