I'm considering an H&R/NEF for deer. It would be a 12 gauge. I would be interested in hearing how accurate you have found these and which model you find to be the best.
In my area of Ohio a 100 yard shot would be a very long one. My deer have been no farther than 50 yards at the most.
Right now I use my 870 Express with a Mossberg rifled barrel and Lightfields, but I don't like switching barrels and am considering a good single shot.
