Tumble lube bullets, again.
« on: January 14, 2005, 03:36:34 PM »
Quick question, Do any of you guys use Lee Liquid Alox on a regular bullet, one without micro groves.  I use this stuff on my 45 colt 230 grainers and love it, just wondering how it would work on "normal" bullets.  More specifically 9mm 125 gr. RN single lube grove used for plinking.  I do have a lee sizer, just havn't mastered the art of any other type of lubing yet.  Thanks guys and gals.

It will work just fine.  We use it on a bunch of different pistol and rifle bullets, both plain base and gas checked, that are not tumble lube design and get excellent results.  That list includes that 9mm bullet you are asking about.
