Stuff fro Savage
« on: January 08, 2005, 02:28:17 PM »
I'm posting this here cause i think this is the right place.  Hopefully, cause I need help with this project.

What I'm doing is fitting my savage 11 short action 7-08 to a Richard's Microfit Stock.  I'm about done with the inletting and am ready to glass bed it, so first question:  1.  Anybody have a reference on the web on the subject of bedding Savage rifles?  Question 2:  The plastic triggerguard did not survive the bedding process.  Anybody know where I can get another?  Plastic or metal is ok.

Hope somebody can help with this.

This has been hashed out several times and there have been links to sights with detailed instructions for bedding rifles with polyester bedding compounds.  Try the search function and read a few of the strings.  If you have questions just let us know..
