Absolutely yes. And it will add weight out in front which will help the gun hold still and you will gain a tad more velocity as well. I also believe there is one fellow here who added one of these and had in recut to 28" to make it a little more woods friendly. For practical purposes the only difference in the Buff Hunter and the Handi is the quality of wood, walnut vs. beech and other assorted palletwood. The frame, I have never been competely clear if the frame is the SB2 frame just color cased, or if it is actually the iron shotgun frame. Visually, the only difference is how the frame appears, if it were the shotgun frame, then it would be a weaker frame and not capable of being heavily loaded. If you are having a Buff Hunter barrel installed on your SB2 frame, then that won't matter, and you could put together a really sharp rifle using the Gun Stock Inc. stocks on it.
