Only one more.....
« on: January 12, 2005, 01:45:36 PM »
I got to thinking if for some reason i could only have one more handi rifle would caliber would it be chambered in and why. I would like to get some of your opinions on this. The caliber you want doesn't have to be factory produced barrel just say it's the last one you are ever gonna buy. What would it be.

Now that the question is out my answer would have to be the 460 S&W. Why you ask, well, frankly for the versitility. In the new 460 s&w you can also shoot 454 cassul and 45 colts.

Varminter.
What is versatility today is not versatile tomorrow. That's why you can never just have one more gun. There is allways another new gun/caliber just around the corner, that is more versatile the day after tomorrow.

Thank you Donaldo. you are a good man.:D

I just struck me funny that after the multi years of hunting, and buying the newest guns and things that come out only to put them in your gun cabinet and take out the old beat up reliable. Because you simply can't imagine leaving it at home. Oh yes you pack a spare but never use it or need it, only in case the old one will give up the ghost. But it never does, because it is the best there ever was  or ever  will be.

And yes man needs more than three gun, how could you ever live with only three guns. :-D
