The other day with my Topper deluxe slug gun I killed an old 5 gallon bucket at 75 yards or so. I have heard many reports of these guns shooting 150+ yards accurateley. I havent had much range time and no hunting time with mine yet but based on the 4 shots I have taken with federal 2 3/4 w/the barnes expanders I'd be comfortable out to 100 yards with the iron sights. The only real way to answer this question for you is to get out there and see what you can do.
