+P Brass?
« on: January 18, 2005, 10:44:11 AM »
I was checking out the 45 ACP brass at Midway and see that at least TWO companies are offering +P brass.  I thought a +P load was just one with a bit more powder, I didn't realize their was a difference in the brass.  Does anybody here know what the difference is?

The difference is the little +P at the end  :-D .  OK, I just HAD to get that one out.  As to your question, NO there is no difference.  The reason they make the brass with the designation is just so you can differentiate for safety purposes (i.e. so you dont think its a regular .45 ACP load and use it in a gun not rated for +P.)
