Bullets that I cast

I could have put this in the cast forum or the BP forum as we are talking about casting bullets but deceided I'd put it here as ButlerFord and the Marshal GB both read this one too.
This is the link to a shot of the bullets I cast:  



From left to right:  .45ACP RN, .45ACP TC, .45LC (250 gr--for the CAS rifle), .45LC (200 gr for the revolvers--both bullets are RNFP), .40 TC (the one in the picture is not lubed), .38 Sp RN, .38 Sp SWC, .38 Sp RNFP--for the CAS Marlin in .357 and 9mm TC.  

Random thoughts:  Why I bought the .38 SWC I can't remember.  Not my most favorite.  The bullets gets hung up on the cylinder or chamber if you are in a hurry to reload--CAS & USPSA here.  
The .45 ACP RN was my father's and is the reason I am still casting; connection to the past and all.  It is 50 years old and still going strong.
It's a lot more fun to size/lube the larger bullets rather than the little-bitty ones.  Something to do with my fat fingers I guess :grin:

Ranger, the 250gr 45 bullet looks like it has a big fat lube grove, what mold is it?  Is it as big as it appears??  It looks like the bullet I've been buying and it works really well with homemade bp lube, even in a 24" barrel.  Can shoot it all day without doing anything to it except load more cartridges

That .38 bullet you say you don't like sure is a nice looking bullet. What kinda mould is it? What weight is that bullet? About 158 grains or so?

The 250gr .45LC is a Lyman mold.  At school right now so don't have the number but it's the only one they make in that configuration and yes, the lube groove is awesome!  
Again, not sure right now on the SWC .38Sp.  It does a great job of casting the bullet; it hangs up on speed reloads--the RNFP ones do a better job when you reload under the clock.
