gun show $50.00 carbine

hit the gunshow this morning.ran into a guy with a M44 and walked away with it for 50.00.
1944 ishevsk all matching in a laminated stock.

Nice find Pete! Was it from a dealer or some one walking around looking to sell?  that is a good buy from a gun show. Though I figure the guys walking around looking to sell if you can get to them first some times you do good. No matter how you got it it is a great deal. Let us know how she shoots. Jim

you sure do like them mosin's don't you? thats one of the nicer M44's i've seen in a while. interesting grain pattern and coloring. genuine Russian too.

the guy was just walking around and wanted to trade it for a .22 I guess 50.00 sounded better???.
I do like the mosin nagants.this is my first russian all the rest are finn's and 1 hungarian 91/30.

Very, very nice.  I love the look of laminate stocks :).  I've got an M38 Mosin Nagant and they are definately a lot of gun for the money.  7.62x54R with a steel buttplate has me wincing after 5 or 6 shots with it though :lol:.

Good find a laminated stock for $50.  There a great flamethrower in low light conditions too.                                             BigBill
