I thought it was a big doe but it turned out to be a button buck. About 100lbs. Shot it at about 70 yards. !2ga 2 3/4" federal premium with the barnes expander bullet. Shooting with the open sights let me see the deers reaction better and I have to say I'm impressed. The deer literally went down as if struck by the hand of God. I can't imagine switching to another slug. The gun (basically a tracker2 w/black stock and nickle receiver) carries great and points and shoots like a dream. As long as I had a big pistol for back-up I wouldn't hesitae to use it for dangerous game. Of course in Delaware that is'nt a concern.

did the expander slug exit?i bet it left a big exit hole
the 20s leave a big enough hole,the 12s are going to be BIG

The slug did exit and did leave a good sized hole. It was snowing and getting darker by the minute as I was dreesing him out so I didn't pay a lot of attention to the actual size. I'd guess 1 1/2 - 2". The porting works great on this gun as well.
