I have a gateway with win98me on it. I Installed the 2005 norton with the personal firewall on it. Every time I install the firewall the pc goes down. Without the firewall the pc works great. I Went on norton q&a page. but no help there. Any help would be thankful. I'am afraid without the firewall I will get some jerk off in my pc :wink:

MS, what are the specs on your PC? Does it meet the minimum requirements of the software?

it is time to upgrade that computer system

most newer programs need way more recourses then what was available just a few years ago.  I ahve 2 computers one is just a year old and the other is about 2 years old and they are way under powered for the new programs whe nI got them I could run several at one time now I find it hard to run the norton virus scan and be on the internet.
