If it has the J lock, you can improve it by going to the older style shroud, firing pin, and spring. But the improvement is slight and most people won't notice the difference in a hunting rifle. This really gets important in a tricked out target rifle, but isn't a big deal for normal rifles.

Light firing pins on a field rifle are nearly worthless.  The difference is milliseconds if that and will not improve the performance of a field rifle. Buy ammo and practice, it'll produce better results!

Practice/reloading has become my cup of tea with this particular caliber. I was raised with rifles but my curiosity was getting the most out of a rifle. Seen lighter pin and lock time discussion and was not sure if it was truly a item for field guns. Aside that discussion I have always enjoyed competing with others and with myself to better all areas of my shooting. As for being the best hunter in my tribe I am  da## close. I know about being a skilled hunter and what is involved. thanks.
