Being single-action, trigger pull is same for all shots ... and smoother than long double-action pull. But, as noted, it must be cocked for first shot. You either carry it without one in the chamber (and rack the slide), or carry it chambered, cocked & locked and just knock off the safety to fire. Fewer moving parts than most double-actions; fewer also than 1911 (no barrel bushing or swinging link). Disassembles into main constituent parts, for cleaning, in about 10 seconds (with no tools); reassembles in about 30.
