Has anyone tried the new Sabertooth bullets from Havester?
« on: January 22, 2005, 07:03:46 AM »
I noticed an advertisement in Blackpowder Guns and Hunting magazine that Havester has put out a belted muzzleloader bullet that is easy to load with excellent accuracy and has a hollow point. The bullet has a gas check and comes in 250,270,300 grain bullets. Has anyone used these bullets and what is the cost of a package of bullets?

I haven`t tried any yet but the gander mountan here in ohio has them.
They remind me of power belts with the plastic cup on base of bullet.
run about 12.00 a pack. Rich
I rather be over the hill than in it

Mid South Shooters Supply has the Sabertooth bullets in stock.   They have 250, 300 and 350 grain bullets.  15 pack for $7.46.  Be aware they have a $20.00 minimum order or they will add a $3.00 surcharge.
