.270 Ultra Comp serial no. HR then numbers

I am trying to find out when my .270 ultra comp was made, serial no is "HR362XXX, I know they only made the Ultra Comp a few years, also would like to buy a thread protector for the muzzle brake, thanks and hello from Okla.

Build year info is in the FAQs and Help sticky, a great place for H&R newbies to spend lots of time reading.  ;)

This is a stupid question but how do I get to these FAQs, I have read about people talking about them but I have not found them, thanks, as you can tell I am a new member

Thanks, made 2001, now I need to find a thread protector, someone said to contact Wayne York but am in the dark on this one
