Which modern inline designs have an exposed nipple.
In Washington state the nipple must be exposed to the elements and use a standard musket cap ignition system.
I know the remington 700ml qualifies. Any others?

Wolfe, I shoot a couple TC Black Diamonds using the musket nipple that comes with the rifle and RWS flangeless musket caps or you can cut the flange off the regular musket caps which I did for a while until I found the flangeless RWS at
www.DNRsports.com
for $2.48 a hundred and no hazmat.
I slip a piece of 1/4" surgical tubing over the cap to waterproof it when hunting, it also keeps the cap in place when the striker is back and the safety is on, don't like to hunt with the striker against the cap.
William Gunsights
has some great prices on inlines, best I've seen in a while....

Does anyone else use a little dab of flux on the side of the nipple to hold the cap in place?

I've used sno-seal to seal a #11 cap, works well, just a bit of a hassle to smear it on. The surgical tubing works extremely well! Someone makes something called a caplocker but it's not legal in Washington, the surgical tubing is.
