avilable grips for Ruger new model single six

Does anyone know if a larger grip for a new model single six is available and from who it could be aquired from? I love this revolver but I do find the grip a bit on the small side. Is a Bisley grip larger? Will it fit the new model? Or would I be better off trading up to a larger framed revover? :?

I bought my third Super Six a couple of weeks ago. I would have to say that the standard grip frame is too small also. I picked up a Bisley grip frame from Brownells and I am having it fitted. They are soooo much nicer in the hand. You might want to give that a shot.

If you don't mind adding a rubber grip to that nice revolver then my suggestion it to look at a Hogue grip.  It will be a little larger than the stock grip because it actually extends below the grip frame.  When I bought one for my SBH Hunter it extended the grip down a little and made it easier to shoot.  I was able to get a consistent grip when bringing the pistol into a shooting position.

Another rubber-grip option you might want to consider are the Pachmayr Presentation grips. These are not traditional-looking at all, but my hand has always liked them. You just need to be certain that you get the version for the Blackhawk (same as Single Six grip) and not the Super Blackhawk.

Of course, I really like the Bisley gripframe, too. But that is a whole lot more money than either a Pachmayr or Hogue aftermarket grip.
