« on: February 06, 2005, 02:30:55 PM »
Will someone please clarify this...does the oring go between the stud and the screw or does it go around the stud so it will rest on the forearm? Will it work the same around the foreend?

The O ring goes around the barrel stud to give clearance between
barrel and forearm. One of mine I used two layers of gasket Meteriak,
to get clearance. Some O-rings work for some and some it doesn't.
all I can say is try it you might like it. :-D  :-D  Marv.

I used one of those cheesy white spacers that come with sling swivel studs. Seemed to be the right thickness, and I have about 100 laying around.

Just opened the hole slightly with a drill bit.
