...and no one seen fit to offer  to buy me a drink, reckon I better break down an' buy a round 'fore I die of thirst.  Barkeep, set 'em up and keep 'em comin' til I say stop ('cept for oldwilliamlayton - he's gettin' too old ta handle the hard stuff, better limit him to sarsaparilla, an' better water it down some).

Although I resent the implications from ol Hamp, I must admit to his logic as being sound and "rat on", dang it all. I sure hate to be found out, it hurts my own pride, or whatever is left of it.
I for one will raise a toast of tha black to seein his OL UGLY face roud here agin.
I would ask a question of him publickly if he is willin to be honest.
Is it true, just askin from rumors I have gathered from tha boys, that your absence is due to them findin where you are and hinderin you from gettin back on tha road agin, fer awhile, at least???
Not accusin ya, mind ya, jest askin cause tha last time we knowed anything about ya, ya was fixin to make a long road trip. I know, fer a fact, tha boys been watchin here to get a clue about yer whereabouts.

Don't pay no mind to oldwilliamlayton, he's still got his hands full tryin' ta get that reloadin' shed level an' ain't got no bizness worryin' bout my drivin'.  Have ya know that for the first time in my drivin' life my license has no restrictions - don't need no glasses no more (since the implants).

Gotta question.  Did your age always show up to the left of your post under your name, or is that a recent addition.  Don't 'member seein' it before, but that don't mean nuthin' - the mind's a turrible thing to lose.
