M1903A3/ M1917 value
« on: February 02, 2005, 08:55:09 AM »
I just discovered this forum and figured I'd draw upon all of you guy's knowledge. Last winter I bought from a relative two very nice rifles. But I'm not sure whether I got a good deal on them. First I paid $500.00 for both. The first one is a M1903A3 made by Smith Corona the second is a M1917 Remington. Both of these rifles were purchased by my grandfather through the NRA many years ago. They both have mirror like bores and both shoot as if new. As a matter of fact they both look new.
Does anyone know the going price of either of these rifles? I'm never selling either of them only wondering if my uncle has ripped me off or not.
Thanks

Based on what I have seen of prices, you got two for the price of one.
The more I listen,the more I hear....and vice versa.
