cannon class at the NRA gunsmithing school

I ran across this on a machinist website that I visit and thought it may be of interest to some of you. The NRA is holding a cannon making class at their gunsmithing school projects seem to run in the 24" range and also a small mortar.

As the instructor for the above linked cannon class, I have the unfortunate duty to advise you that the school administration deleted the cannon class from this summer's program.  I doubt that cage rattling will change their minds but you can try if you really want to attend a class. (530) 251-8800
