Lil' Ambush Jr is driving me crazy!!

I went ahead last week and ordered the SB2-F23 (Ultra varmint, .223) for Ambush Jr.    Man, what a mistake lettin' him know.   Every morning and every night......"is it here yet?, is it here yet"?  I think I've created another "Handi-holic" to add to the rolls. :shock:  I can only hope the factory rolls a few more off real soon, I won't be able to take it much longer!  P.S. I kind of like that ugly stock. :wink:

Ambushhunter, your a heck of a dad to do that for your son!!! And as far as that butt ugly buttstock you don't owe us an apology. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I now like the Survivor stocks and I first thought they were ugly. As a matter of fact they are!!! But they work great!!!!....<><.... :grin:

I guess if you've hung out on here enough you know to clean the dickins out of the rifle before ya even shoot it..receiver as well as the barrel...... :roll: Might as well start him out on the right foot..... :wink:

Thanks MSP...yea, he really enjoys shooting, both my boys do.  The older one (11) shows promise.  He may be competitive, must be the young eyes.  And yes Deadeye, I own enough NEF product to know they have to be cleaned well.  I usaully dis-assemble first thing, flitz the bore and chamber and scrub down real good.  That is usually followed by the o-ring and some kind of trigger adjustment.  Were really looking forward to this .223.

I understand your pain, I bought a 22 hornet from shaner & told my son I did it, What a mistake. Is it here yet, when it arrives put it together, then lets shoot it, of course it is dark so we have to wait till after school the next day. But isn't it rewarding knowing you & your sons enjoy quality time together. It was a pain waiting but it also made me warm & fuzzy inside. Enjoy those boys
