The Marbles Tang Sight #009813 is the one you want and is available thru Midway http://www.midwayusa.com/rewriteaproduct/118542

I know the one you linked to is a tad cheaper but the cant is differant on the peep sight.

Ok, that's kinda what I needed to know. I added it to my wish list, maybe it'll be on sale sometime soon.

Thanks,

Tim

Ian, this is the only technical information that is given on the peep sight:

Adjustable for windage and elevation.
Each firm detent click equals 4/10's of an inch movement at 100 yards.
Look through the rear sight, not at the rear sight.
Each sight includes three aperatures and mounting screws.

from Marble's web page
The Marble’s Peep Tang Sight is one of the cornerstones of our line. In the days when iron sights were the rule and scopes were the exception, the Peep Tang Sight was considered the top of the line in both precision shooting and general hunting. The increase in speed is due to the way your vision is drawn through the rear sight. You don’t have to acquire a sight picture. You are looking through the rear sight not at the rear sight. Just put the front sight where you want to shoot and squeeze the trigger. It’s the fastest sight combination for Cowboy Action Shooters. Webster Marble advocated a tang mounted peep sight on every hunting gun and called the Peep Tang Sight “the perfect rear sight.” Once you use one, you will agree.
The Marble’s Peep Tang Sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. The adjustments are micrometer precise. Each firm detent click equals four-tenths of an inch movement at 100 yards. Each sight includes three apertures and mounting screws.

I would recomend calling or e-mailing Marble's Outdoors and asking them this very question:

I do know from looking at the picture of this peep tang sight, that you will get much greater elevation and windage than afforded by the current Williams peep sight that comes with the Buffalo Classic now.

Hmm.. still have to get a smith to install it to make sure it's straight and square since there's no tang for the sight.  I have a Marble's tang sight on my Marlin 1894 Cowboy in 45 Colt.  I like'em pretty good.  I've changed my leaning from one sight to another so much lately it's turned into a drunken swagger.     I'm back leaning toward Lee Shaver's economy long range Soule at the moment, the deluxe is way too expensive.

I got the #9813 on my 45-70 Browning safe queen.....it's pretty simple straight forward sight ....Unfortunately my eyes don't cooperate!  :(   Nice sight though...I got the Lyman Globe on the front with all the inserts too....
