As this is kind of an "opinion" poll of sorts and i checked OTHER...........
  I`ll go with a 30-06.  It`s been a solid round forever. IMO.

Well, now that you have everything covered, maybe you should think about something bigger, like a Barrett or a morter.  Okay, the morter is a little far fetched, but my former high school history teacher bought a tank, so who knows...  I've always dreamed about having a morter for those near misses.
