Fellas;

Just got word today that the 7.62X39 barrel will not be available till.....
Get this, JULY :shock: Well I'm SOL. Before the PD shoot.

De41Mag: Dude, get a .204 Ruger! You won't like PD's w/ 7.62, not a Varmint round, 30-30 would be about the same, big rainbow.

Is this going to be a real 7.62x39, you know, with .311 groove dia.? I'm only asking because i have a .303 Brit (not to mention a 7.65 Argentine Mauser carbine) and reaming a chamber for either round would sound nice to me.

Welcome to GBO!

No one knows yet, there have been a couple calls to H&R but until they get the barrels in stock, no one knows for sure what the bore size will be and that won't be until this summer. :cry:

I'm still ticked that it's not going to be available as a seperate rifle. The barrel accessory program is a wonderful thing for those who take advantage of it, but I'd personally rather keep a seperate from for all my weapons. Just a personal preference.
