Peep Sight
« on: February 07, 2005, 06:12:47 PM »
I'm looking for a little help in identifying a Tang Peep Sight. It is spring loaded to the up position and has knurled button that slides to lock it it the down position. From what I can read on the base it says,

M S A Co.
Gladstone Mich
Pat. Oct. 30 1903

The sight is in pretty good condition.  I beleive it for a 1886 Winchester. Any help would be greatly appreciated  :-)

Thanks in advance

Duh! That didn't even dawn on me.   Thanks quickdtoo.
Well at least I know it is a Original, not a Repro. Would you have any Idea what it might be worth?

Thanks

Sorry, wouldn't have a clue, but if the replica prices are any indication, I'd say it's worth at least $200-$500 if it's as precision built as some of those I've looked at online for my Buffalo Classic for $125 and waaaay up!! A modern Marbles will cost $125 and up...I'd contact Marlbes and see if they can tell you more about it and give you a value on it. Take a pic of it and email it to them with an inquiry.
