Picked up a BPS 20 Ga to use for small animals. I want to try it out on the skeet field. Any advice on shot size. My 12ga uses 9. Should I use the same for the 20, or move to 8? Thanks, Curly

On the skeet range #9 shot is THE SHOT to use. No reason to use any other and really to do so is a handicap not a help. If you shoot Trap then #8s or #7-1/2 is correct depending on what yard line you're shooting from. Most sporting clays shots can be taken nicely with #8s or #7-1/2 either with 8s likely being most commonly used.
