CZ 452 Range report
« on: February 07, 2005, 04:17:47 AM »
I have my .22LR CZ now for almost half a year, and I am beginning to feel very comfortable shooting this rifle.

It had an adjustable trigger, which I left at the factory setting (in the mid position).

The rifle came with a 5shot mag, and I'd buy another one, or even a 10 shot mag but as I live in Belgium it's very hard to get access to these accesories.

I mounted a bushnell fixed 4x scope in Tasco rings.

I have access to a range of 50 m (55 yds), and I shoot exclusively at that distance.

The rifle favors .22 High Velocity ammo, I'm using the Remingtons in the yellow boxes.
Here's a 55 yard target with the ammo mentioned just above:

here's a 5 shot group using .22 Subsonics, at 55 yds:

The scope is zeroed for Hi Velocity ammo, hence this group drops approx. 1/4 " at 55 yd.

I'm sure the rifle could shoot even tighter groups, but this is the best I can do.
I hope this helps for those doubting which 22 sniper (as I call 'em) to get.
If there's any questions, please ask.

Regards....
