Could someone here give me their favorite powder for this cartrige? Hunting will be the use. Thanks- Tad :D

The powder I use the most is lil'gun I also use H110 but it is much dirtier then lil'gun and I will just stick to lil'gun. Only down fall I've found with using lil'gun is it doesn't tend to shoot as good when loaded light, I found it shoots much better when loaded torwards the upper limits.

95% of my 500MAG reloads are with W296 and the rest with Lil'Gun. I have had great accuracy out of both of my 500 MAG's with the W296. I use the Lil'Gun for my 575 gr. bullets.  :D

I have been useing Win.-296 in all of my mag. handgun loads for years. It give you the most velosity for the lowest presure and I`ve always gotten good accuracy with it. I load it in everything from .357`s to the .500 S&W. H-110 is about the same thing but I can find 296 cheaper, and don`y worry if you have alittle dust in the barrel after fireing it. It will wipe out with 1 patch and does not affect accuracy.
