wm.f. in fla.,
I've been a BIG fan of the quarter bore from the time I got my first one as a teenager, a Savage M99 in .250-3000. Still got that one. I now own rifles in .25 caliber from .25-20(Win. M92), .25-35(Win. M94), .250-3000(two, Savage M99 and a Rem. M721), .257 Roberts(converted M1891 Mauser), .25-06(two, Ruger M77V and a Rem. M700) and .257 Weatherby Magnum(Deluxe). The one thing all quarter bores have in common is their accuracy. Even .25-20 in the M92 Win. is a lot more accurate than it's bigger brother the .32-20 in the same rifle. With the talk of Winchester bringing out a .257 WSM it's looks like my collection of quarter bores will continue to grow. Lawdog
