custom octagon barrel on a no.1?

:DHi I,m kicking the idea around of buying a used no.1 ruger and putting an octagon barrel on it maybe 45/70 or? has anyone done this ,have photos?

I haven't done this, but I have a friend who did. He put a heavy .32-40 Badger barrel on his Ruger #1. He also deleted the safety, so he could mount a MVA tang sight on it. Great looking gun, and very accurate too!
