Taurus scope mount for 218SS6 model

Hi all  :D

Does anyone knows where to get the Taurus scope base mount for the Tracker 218SS6, .218 Bee with 6.5" barrel?

I called TheGunSource.Com and they have these back order for a long time and they ask for them about $42.10 each.  Any other source that may have them available?

Me and another guy over at rimfirecentral are looking for Tracker scope mounts too.  Everyone seems to be out of stock right now.  I guess the best you can do is backorder now so when they come out you'll be at top of the list.

I am wondering if a third party will start supplying these mounts since Taurus can't seem to get to build them.  I ordered one and waited more than a month.  Since I did not have a good load with my .218 Bee, I was thinking on trading it in.  Then I got some decent loads and my interest is back.  This revolver will be a keeper.  I've just can't wait for them m ounts to be available.

These have been on backorder now for 8-10 months.  I haven't even bought the revolver yet as I was waiting for the mount too. I am starting wonder if they will ever get them out. I also am very surprised another company hasn't come out with one.

I called the customer service line and was a little more persistant. I finally spoke with the Manager of the US operation named Robert. He said they have been on backorder for over a year now and he cannot get any info. from the manufacturer. He said they don't even return his calls. It sounded kinda fishy and he was stumblin over his words a bit. He added that he has 3000 ordered from the manufacturer as he gets calls on them all the time. The first 400 are already sold. There has got to be other options. This gun has been out now a few years.
