Tips on time?
« on: February 25, 2005, 12:57:51 AM »
I'm finding it more and more difficult each season to find time to run a line. With trap check requirements, once I start out I am committed to it for at least a short stint of a few weeks, but even that is becoming "too much" to juggle between work and other commitments.
I've tried scaling back to a very small line, and keeping the locations very close to my home to cut down travel time.
Any other tips aside from the obvious (like trading off sleep completely and seeing how long I last)?

Yep know what you mean the time thing.  Some lines you have to take vacation to set up  and then check  before  or after work....some lines you just have to take a week or more vacation if you can or spare it and run your line.  Everyones situation is differant and  if you can only set a couple of traps  then do it that way.  Catching a few furbearers  to keep the itch itched  is the way to go if you can  spend alot of time at it.
