1911 Commemoratives You'd Like To See?????

I'll start this off......

Wouldn't it be sooooooo cool to possess Alvin York's 1911 from the war?
Somebody, probably Springfield, will make an "Alvin York Custom"

Can you see the magazine ads already?  There's ole' Alvin standing on the hill with his .45 barrel smokin' - surrounded by dead Nazis.  YEAH!  Why on earth hasn't anyone made THIS commemorative?  It's remiss and shameful.

Springfield Armory could slick up one in black and sell it with the White Feather tribute to Carlos Hathcock.

BamBam,
I think Springfield or whoever will need to work on the add. York was from WWI and the Nazis were from WWII.

WWI & WWII Commemoratives followed by the George S. Patton (Ivory grips not pearl), Texas Ranger (with a Walker Colt engraved in the slide)...
