M1 Garand Scope Mount

Has any used a B Square scope mount for the M1 Garand. I have a M82 scope that I would like to use without altering my M1. It is supposed to attach to the rear sight bracket and clamps to the receiver's left side. It is offset for loading. Any info would help. Thanks,Rob
