Finally got all the little pieces added.  You can click on the links below to see.

Page where all the pictures are—does take a bit of time to download on a dial-up:  http://users2.ev1.net/~dwel/cowboy.htm

Front shot with new star and plaque:  http://users2.ev1.net/~dwel/gun%20cart%20photos/p5020006.jpg

Close up of new star.  Most “fun” was cutting out the blue ring.  Tore up 3 before I got these:   http://users2.ev1.net/~dwel/gun%20cart%20photos/p5020010.jpg

Close up of front plaque. http://users2.ev1.net/~dwel/gun%20cart%20photos/P5020001.JPG   SW is Slashwood Whittler my brother, VP is Violet Peacock my better half and CR is for me, Cheyenne Ranger.  All from the Lazy L ranch (our real last name begins with L.)

Be my guest.  One reason I posted is to give other pards ideas.  Not saying that mine is great, but it does the job.  Best of luck.

If I had to go over again I would have cut out a heart, diamond, spade and club about 1/2 up on the gun rack part--sorta to represent SASS.  Seems I'm always thinking of things to add or change.  Guess that's the nature of the beast.

:agree: That's a good lookin' cart, and the style is much better than the traditional kind - JMO.  I built one similar several years ago, albeit, much rougher, and a bit bigger; heavy, too.
