Feline Hunting Partners
« on: February 21, 2003, 07:33:06 AM »
I am fortunate enough that I can hunt on my own property,
and just about every Time I head into the woods my cat is with me.
He follows me to my deer blind and sleeps beside my chair.
No need for cover scent because he "MARKS" everything between the front porch and my blind!!! Cats are  excellent rabbit hunting partners
also because they will go into brush piles and flush em' out.
I am REAL partial to this cat, because he is more loyal than any dog
I have ever had!
I play "Paintball" with my brothers and nephews behind the house
also, and this cat will instantly pick out any movement in the woods
and stop and stare at it. He totally defeats my nephews GHILLIE
suits. Bad thing is, that the OPPOSING FORCE has learned to look
for the cat, so they know I am Near!!!

Give CATS a break, They are great company.

You just havn't met the right CAT!!!!
This cat jumped off the roof of the barn
into the dog pin (an Alaskan Malamute
and a 3/4 Timber Wolf 1/4 Husky in the pin)
Bloodied both dogs and jumped out
without a scratch.
You just can't help but admire a cat like
that!

Kinda' reminded me of Jerry Clower,

"just shoot up here amongst us,
one of us has gotta' have some relief!"
