Howdy Everyone,
I have a old smaller Herters press that has a maybe 5/8 ram.
The shell holders screw on to the ram.
My Dad has a Herters press that has a ram that looks like 3 times bigger then mine.The shell holders look like a big RCBS holder and has a set screw that hold it into the ram.
I have seen adapters in midsouth or grafs for the Herters press.
Anyone ever buy one of these adapters and what ram do they fit?

We made our own adapter for my bro's press from a RCBS ram.

I have an old Herter's press too. Mine sounds like the one your father has. But anyway, check out www.vegatool.com They have all kinds of shell holders and things for old Herter's presses.

Hi tony212,
That was what I was looking for in shell holders and adapters.
My dad got a 44 mag and would like to reload for it.
But my shell holders will not work in his press.
Think we will just get him a adapter then he can get RCBS holders for what ever he wants to load.
