Veral,

I just getting into bullet casting.  On your recommendation I am ordering a Star lubrisizer; Magma wanted to know the number of lube grooves and their spacing for the sizing dies.  I will be sending you an order for the following two bullet molds.

.512-440-WFN gc .4 nose

.452-325-WLN gc .45 nose or .452-325-WFN gc .4 nose  (which would you recommend?)

Could you give me the info Magma needs or should I just cast a bullet first and send it to them?

Thanks,

Steve.

Let's make this easy on everyone.

Traditionally, the old Star company made their standard dies with .1 spacing, and enough of them to handle long bullets if desired.  I believe Magma does the same.  It works for about any bullet you want to use, by plugging the extra holes with lead shot.  If anyone tells me they are going to size in a Star, I space the lube grooves so they can be filled with standard dies.
