Can you put a mid bead on a 22in cyl. barrel that doesn't have a vent rib? Would it help with accuracy when shooting slugs? I need all the help I can get !

At the ranges you would be shooting slugs with a 22"smooth bore barrel a front bead should be sufficent. I didn't even put the bead back on after I cut mine.
