Ruger Red Label

If anyone has a Red Label with the target grey finish and the black sythetic stocks, I would appreciate some comments. I've been drooling all over one in my local gun store. Thanks.

I've got one with the polished stainless...would prefer the target gray, but couldn't pass up the deal on this one.  I love the gun.  It's a litttle heavy, but I shoot well with it, and don't worry about dragging it into the duck blind like I would with my other O/U.  The gun is well built.  I've shot a few thousand rounds through mine without a hitch.  I'd recommend them.

Thanks for the response. I'm not stuck on the target grey. The regular wood stocked ones look good too. I have one dealer recommending them, and one dealer who says that people he talked to say they can't shoot well with the Rugers. It feels good to me. Too bad you can't shoot them before you buy!

One thing-----the plastic stock on the stainless Red Labels is a good half inch longer than the wooden ones.

I don't care what the catalog says for LOP-----put 'em side by side and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Mine is a 12 ga. wood/blue and it is the one I grab when going out the door for waterfowl or whenever the weather is to bad to haul out the Weatherby.  Quit drooling and buy it, you'll not regret it.  Lawdog

 BUY IT!! if you haven’t already. I have a Red Label with Wood Stock and Blue with Gold inlayed Pheasants on the sides. Great looking,.. but you know what???  I traded my Browning Citori for it! The Guy really wanted it for himself at the store. But I knew I wanted this Ruger Red Label as soon I saw it.  We both WON!  I have really enjoyed my Ruger Red Label,.. it is a great fit for me.  The Gray and Black really looks good too. Go for it!!
